Great Challenge - Greater Results
"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph." — Thomas Paine
At the Law Offices of Robert Goldman, PLLC, we embrace challenging circumstances. Embracing challenges is not just about facing difficulties; it's about recognizing opportunities and progressing to places previously thought unimaginable.
With criminal defense, expungements or drivers license restoration, we know there are many challenging circumstances an individual must confront. Whether its deciding how to move forward during a case, how to respond to detrimental situation or outcome, or confronting difficult opposition, the challenges can feel overwhelming.
Challenges can be stressful when you’re in unfamiliar territory, and the stress can multiply when attorneys turn you or your matter away or say its not possible.
But where others shy away, we hone in on solutions. We work closely to understand you, your needs, and how to accomplish the task at hand. We devote the time, resources and enthusiasm to our clients to ensure they see the light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how intimidating the challenges seem.
Recently, we obtained a successful Expungement in Eaton County of a 2004 CSC-4th Degree conviction for our client “Barron”. When we were first approached for consultation on this expungement, we were told several attorneys turned them away, telling this individual that setting aside their CSC conviction couldn’t be done. But we took the time to listen to them. We heard their story, and together determined how we could create path forward. We worked closely with our client to understand their history, how hard they’ve worked over the many years since their conviction, and the many challenges life presented upon having a CSC-4th conviction on their record. We quickly learned that this individual, a caring parent, neighbor and performer, was far from the individual her matter presented on the surface. Working closely together, understanding what needed to be done, and never losing faith resulted in the Court recognizing the tremendous characteristics and potential this individual possessed, and readily granted their Application to Set Aside Conviction, giving them a new lease on life.
As the great French playwright and poet Molière said, “The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.”
Clients and cases such as this serve as a reminder that even the greatest challenges can be overcome when you approach the moment with the requisite attention and care. We are proud to assist individuals like Barron obtain the results that mean so much to them and their family.
